The storytaler showcase

The Storytaler Showcase is open to all filmmakers and content creators, regardless of experience level.

We welcome:

• First-time filmmakers
• Independent creators
• Students
• Professionals

All films must be:

• Original works created by the submitter
• Any release status (published or unpublished)
• Any production date (old or new projects welcome)

If you made it, you can submit it.

Categories

Submissions are accepted in the following categories:

• Feature Film
• Short Film
• Documentary
• Commercial

Submission Process

To submit your film:

• Email your entry to: storytalershowcase@gmail.com
• Include:

• Your name
• Film title
• Category
• Runtime
• Brief description
• Viewing link (Google Drive, Vimeo, etc.)

You can also click one of the "SUBMIT NOW" buttons to enter through Google Forms.

Submission Deadline

All submissions completed by:
May 28, 2026 at 11:59 PM (CST)

Late submissions may not be considered.

Selection Process

• All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of local professionals
• One (1) film will be selected per category
• Due to time constraints, only selected films will be screened

Selected filmmakers:

• Will NOT be notified in advance
• Winners will be revealed live at the event prior to their screening

Filmmaker Experience

If your film is selected:

• Your film will be screened at the showcase
• You will receive a film-related award/trophy
• You will be given a 15-minute spotlight session, which includes:

• Talking about your film
• Promoting your work
• Live audience Q&A

Rights & Ownership

• Filmmakers retain 100% ownership of their work
• Storytaler Studios LLC does NOT claim any rights to submitted films
• By submitting, you grant permission for:

• Screening your film at the event
• Use of clips or stills for event promotion (if applicable)

Additional Notes

• All content must be appropriate for a public audience
• Submission does not guarantee selection
• By submitting, you confirm you have the rights to all content within your film (music, footage, etc.)

The Storytaler Showcase exists to celebrate creativity, storytelling, and community.

This is your opportunity to share your work, connect with an audience, and be part of something bigger.
